Mandarin Lessons

We offer Mandarin lessons for complete beginners, intermediate Mandarin for those wanting to polish up their Mandarin and advanced Mandarin lessons for those seeking a greater degree of fluency. We can prepare you to attend an event with basic phrases or teach you enough Mandarin to take a board presentation.

Ways to Learn Mandarin with Tutorcom:

Lessons take place at your home or office (or other venue chosen by you) and can take place any time between 8am and 9pm (Monday to Fridays) or at weekends (flexible times). Our recommendation is for 1.5-hour lessons but lessons can be 1 hour or longer.

 

Costs:
One-to-One Tuition: £40 per hour
Small Group Tuition: £50 per hour

  • Spoken by 885 million people as a first language.Mandarin Courses
  • Chinese is actually a family of closely-related but mutually unintelligible regional dialects.
  • Mandarin is a category of related Chinese dialects spoken across most of northern and south-western China.
  • Standard Mandarin is the official spoken language of the People's Republic of China, the official language of the Taiwan and one of the four official languages of Singapore.
  • Mandarin was originally the language spoken by Chinese officials, most of whom came from Beijing.
  • The official romanisation system used in China and in Western publications about China is called pinyin.
  • There are 4 main tones in Mandarin with a 5th neutral tone.
